During the Talker New Media Conference in New York City, Alex Jones asked the younger brother of actor Alec Baldwin, Stephen, if me might entertain running against his brother for mayor of the Big Apple.

Alex was the keynote speaker at this year’s event.
Last week the older Baldwin, who currently stars in the NBC sitcom 30 Rock, said he might run for the office now held by Michael Bloomberg.
“Its a long way till November of 2013,” he said in a Twitter post.
Earlier this year during an appearance on Parker/Spitzer, Baldwin indicated that he was “very interested” in getting into politics. He made similar statements to Playboy magazine last year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Alec Baldwin holds liberal political views. He is a vegetarian, animal rights activist, a strong supporter of PETA, and currently sits on the board of Norman Lear’s advocacy group, People For the American Way. Lear’s group monitors “right wing” politics and promotes equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people.
During his interview, Stephen Baldwin proposed that Alex act as campaign manager should he decide to “go head to head against big brother.”
Stephen is a born-again Christian. He supported the unsuccessful candidate for the Republican nomination in the 2008 presidential election, Sam Brownback, and currently co-hosts a radio show with with conservative talk-radio host Kevin McCullough.
He has appeared in a number of motion pictures, including The Usual Suspects and The Flyboys.
